What do you think about our life after graduate?
If you ask to me, my answer is "I can imagine what it will be" hoho

Before graduate I've tried some chance for applying scholarships to Japan and Korea (U2U mode) but I failed, maybe it cause by my preparation aren't good enough and I kept in my mind "next year i should try again". But the reality isn't going like what we've planned.

After graduate, I've applied for job (I thought it was normally, as the first child in my family I've to help my parents for the financial- Welcome to the real world).

September 06, 2014 was my first day to become a trainee in PT. Astidama Adhimukti located in Samsam Village, Tabanan, Bali. It was an industry of beverage, one of subsidiary of Orang Tua Group which produce Tango, Oops, etc), that produce some kind of drunk (Whisky "Drum", Vodka "Iceland", and kind like wine "Orang Tua"). 6 months as a trainee in logistic position, first time I thought "why I stayed in this position" but after several months I enjoyed that and I felt more comfort than other position I thought good one before.

After 7 months here, my mind still can't erased the memory of "how to continue my study to get master degree with scholarship"... But the other side I still keep my mind, after my mother passed away, I should stay to beg my family especially my sister (Ratih) and my father of course. Ahh... these two minds making me so confused..

In the end of April 2015 (I forgot, CMIIW) I got information about one kind of scholarship that I've targeted from 2013/2014, the name is PMDSU scholarship.

The story will be continued in next page.... The Adventure of Me....

Salam untuk para Laskar Beasiswa!!!

Toward the ending of June or the beginning of July, all applicant of MEXT Scholarship via University will have sensation of pounding to wait the final result. May too earlier, but congratulation for the applicant who pass the MEXT final selection and enjoy your experience in Japan for 2-6 years.

Okay, now I'll explain to you there 2 types of MEXT scholarship that you can apply (you can apply the both of scholarship depend on the final information from the  destination university) 1) via embassy recommendation is always open on March/April each year, check on the japan embassy website and 2) via university recommendation (special pathway) is always open in the end of year, from my experience in Kyoto University the application of scholarship is available on the end of December, the schedule of  this scholarship depend on the university.

From my experience (I apply this scholarship via university recommendation) from July to October in last year, I contacted some Professor from several University in Japan to ask the available of position as research student in their lab (tip: don't contact the professor directly, but contacted their associated professor, why?  Please remember, the Professor in Japan are very busy, some of them don't have time to read YOUR email, as my experience it was to long to wait for the reply and the reply came to my inbox that was from their secretary).

And may you will ask to me, how to get their contact?
1) Open the university website > choose your graduate school/department > choose the member/Lab. member > in here you'll find the professor that suitable with your research topic and generally on the website contains some information of Professor profile include with his email.
2) Find some journals that relevant with your topic and generally in the first page of journal there an email address of the Professor or associate professor.

I think it will be enough information for you to get Professor contact.

After you get acceptance from the professor, he will send some file of application to your email when it available (so you need to be patient). When it come to your Inbox, please fill it with right information and in the application 2 (about study plan, discuss it with your professor earlier don't wait to discuss it after you get the application, if you lucky this application sometimes will be created by your associated professor, so you don't need to worry about your study plan).

Okay after you have complete the application form, you need to do medical checkup (the format of medical checkup can you download on japan embassy website) and print all your application, also please translate your documents like birth certificate, graduate certificate, transcript and other to japan or english and issued by notary. After all document complete send it directly to your professor.

Wait for the administration result, if you pass this stage, your professor will contact you and invite to do interview (e-mail, chat, skype and or phone). Prepare yourself about your topic research and also the argument why you choose their university and lab. The interview taken 20-30 minutes.

And after you done the interview you need to wait until June/July for the final result.

What the difference from 2 type of scholarship?
The scholars who pass via embassy don't need to prepare for ticket of airfare to Japan, it's directly prepared by embassy including VISA and the other document. And for scholars who pass via university you need to prepare some money of ticket to Japan and spend the free time to prepare your VISA and the other document.

May this year I can apply and pass until the final stage without any disturbing like now.

ASUS Notebook Terbaik dan Favoritku

Saturday, March 29, 2014

For my friend, who request journals about Coffee and Caffeine. I've downloaded some journal that may related to your research's topic.

#first journal
#second journal
#third journal
#fouthjournal
On Friday, September 06, 2013 Chemistry department had done a lecturer by a student or may be a lecturer too there in UIBK. The lecture about Computational Chemistry the future way to explain all problems undissolved using conventional theory.
He gave some example of the application of computational chemistry, e.g. on physic chemistry (related to structure dimensional of molecule, mechanism of catalysis, mechanism of active surface area, etc) and the application on medicinal chemistry (related to construct drug/medicine molecule, design of the compatible drug to receptor).
All participant was very interesting about the 1,5 hour of the lecturer.
May you interest to computational chemistry? Here I've uploaded some journals that you can access for free.

Related to Physical Chemistry

Related to Medicinal Chemistry

Some files that embed here were upload to Skydrive, and may have difference touch with the file embed using google upload. And may some user feel confuse, how to make a copy of that file or how to download it. It is so easy. Just follow these instructions:

When you open a post e.g.PROGRAM KREATIVITAS MAHASISWA 2013/2014, you will get a load preview of embed file like this.

Just wait it until its change into a page (not need to wait until all pages of document are ready), just need to wait until the embed file show the properties e.g. the page number (blue color tab).

After that, going to the right corners of bottom (on the blue color tab) choose the second icon from right and than select Download a Copy.
And you will get a windows download confirmation. Select yes to download that file.

There an information for who have access to sciencedirect.com by using account that registered on ristek.go.id. For about two weeks ago sciencedirect server has changed the method for login and access journals there. If on old version you just need to log in on pustaka.ristek.go.id after that done you can access all journal database like sciencedirect, proquest, and the other providers whom has signed contract with ristek.go.id.

But with new system from the sciencedirect server, to access that one you just need click on sciencedirect icon. Then you will direct to new tab on your browser, you will go to a proxy system that created by sciencedirect (may it for make more secure) and you will get message alert to input your username and password.

After that all done you can access all document on sciencedirect (except books and some version that release under year of 2000) and download them.

This method just for members of ristek.go.id. And for some student in Indonesia also can access sciencedirect for free if their university has signed contract, some of them are UGM, Unair, Undip, and other popular university.

Did you a windows user? If yes, you've common use microsoft office that published by Microsoft. One of the popular product of microsoft office software are version 2007 and version 2010. But in this post, I'll explain you step by step to rearm to extend the inactive license of your office 2010 only for six months.

  •
  • And just copy and paste this block text: cd C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform
  •
  • Then type ospprearm or ospprearm.exe , just choose one which give the success on result.
And congrats to you, your office is extend for 30 days and you need to rearm again using this method every 30 days for six months.
Like the 2012 year competition, Pertamina will be held 2 competition, there are science project and theory competition.
But for the science project competition in this year totally different with last year, because for this year the science project are divide into 4 categories like Geo-Science, Software application, Building Architecture, and Research Product. And the all categories topic are Energy, Environment, and Health.

To know details about this competition please go to OSNPertamina homepage and to join the competition please go to register page.

And you can download these files, examples of Pertamina theory competition.

DIKTI has announced about the guidance of PKM (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa) for 2013/2014. Like the year of 2012/2013, it was divided into seven groups, e.g. PKM-P, K, M, KC, T, GT, and AI.
For five groups except GT and AI, for the fund allocation DIKTI has give the minimum and maximum number of money will be transfer to the group with the proposal whom pass the selection, it is around 2,5 to 12,5 millions rupiah.

This is the preview of the guidance of PKM 2013/2014 and be the success applicant, never give up cause knowledge never end and always growth.

Good luck to you who will be the scholarship hunter and be the elected scholars.

Biopolymer Chitosan

Saturday, September 7, 2013
Do you know about biopolymer chitosan?
Before we touch chitosan, for the first I will give explanation about bioploymer.
Biopolymer consists of two words such as bio and polymer. The meaning of bio refer to organism/natural and the word of polymer have meaning the supramacromolecule that construct from a variant of monomer or combine of two or more monomer and it can have biggest weight of molecular. So, we can redefine biopolymer with the two words before, it have means naturally supramacromolecule (can be collect from organism/microorganism) that construct from a variant of monomer or combine of two or more monomer and it can have biggest weight of molecular.
Chitosan is the second most abundant natural polymer and has many useful applications in the area of biomedical engineering, including gene delivery, due to its cationic character at physiological conditions. Chitosan shows limited solubility at neutral pH, and forms polyelectrolyte complexes with polyanions, often resulting in precipitation. Chitosan  also has  been  used  as  a  support  for  enzyme  immobilization  (Klein  et  al.,  2012;  Kuo  et  al.,  2012;  Li,  Cai,  Zhong,  &  Du, 2012;  Muzzarelli,  1980;  Orrego  et  al.,  2010).  Chitosan,  isolated from  chitin,  is  the  linear  and  partly  acetylated  (1–4)-2-amino-2-deoxy--d-glucan  (Muzzarelli,  1977,  2012;  Muzzarelli  et  al.,  2012). Chitosan is a cationic natural copolymer of glucosamine and biodegradable mucoadhesive polysaccharide derived from crustacean shells. Chitosan particles have been shown to increase transcellular and paracellular transport of macromolecules across the intestinal epithelial monolayer andused successfully todeliver adrugorally toenterocytes, Peyer’s patches and mesenteric lymph nodes (Desai et al., 1996; vanderLubbenet al., 2001;Ouji et al., 2002). Chitosan has been used widely for the production of biodegradable and biocompatible micro- and nanoparticles.
What is on your mind about Recombinant DNA technology?
Have it on yours?
If the answer "Not" may these video and flash file could help you to create definition about Recombinant DNA technology, which I took by google search engine.

Or

To play this flash object, right click on it and choose play (only if there is no mark sign on play)

And after you watch the two video above, have it on yours?
I will define the it to you, recombinant DNA technology is a technology that allows DNA to be produced via artificial means.
This technology works by taking DNA from two different sources and combining it into a single molecule. There are two main types of cloning that recombinant DNA technology is used for therapeutic cloning and reproductive cloning. Using recombinant DNA technology for therapeutic cloning purposes holds a great deal of potential benefit. For example, a cancerous organ could be replaced with a new one made from a patient's own DNA.

The define and advantages of recombinant DNA technology above are taken from http://www.wisegeek.org

And how about the disadvantages of recombinant DNA technology? The simple answer are it can remove the natural plasma nutfah, cause by the growth of technology of recombinant DNA, human naturally  wanna to create the new organism/microorganism that have more advantages or that no have disadvantages.

.
Hi guys, face with me again. This is my second post in blogger.com.

Even the technology and globalization always growth up every second and not all person have a chance to try or learn that. Why they not have a chance to learn or try it? Do they lazy? Nope, I think. Because of they have several job that make have no time to learn or cause by they have no hardwares or tools to practice of try.
An example of this case not all matures or adults can operate computer, is it?
Okay back to the topic, in this post I'll give you all tips how to call/open program without using mouse, we can open the program without mouse, just using keyboard only we can open it. Do you believe to me? Yes it must.  May you have saw your friend or the other professional operate PC or notebook, just within keyboard they can open program (e.g. MS Word) no mouse or no touch pad. Do you want to try it?
Lets try (this screenshot took on Windows 8, you still can try it on Windows 7, Vista or XP).
1. For the first just open the metro screen of windows 8

2. Right Click on a Program you wanted for a Shortcut and choose  "Open File Location"

3. You will face a windows where the file located

4. Right Click again on the file you wanted for a shortcut and choose "Properties"

5. You will face a windows properties of the file

6. Select the column of "Shortcut Key" and type on keyboard the key you want to use. It must three key combination and the two key it must the combination of  Ctrl Alt or Ctrl Shift or Alt Shift. For the example combination I use is Ctrl Alt W

7. After you have the combination key, click on Apply, may you'll get a message just ignore it by click Continue and the last Click on OK.

8. That's all, its simple, isn't it?

Udayana University is one of two state university in Bali province, which there two mainly building located at Kampus Sudirman in Denpasar and Kampus Bukit in Bukit, Jimbaran.
My faculty, Math and Natural Science is the one that located in Bukit, Jimbaran. My faculty was consisted with six department, there are Chemistry, Physic, Math, Biology, IT, and Pharmacy. Chemistry and Physic are the oldest department in this faculty and chemistry especially as my focus major of study have merged with Agriculture Faculty for some years before became the part of Math and Natural Science Faculty, that's a short history of my Department.
And now I'll tell you a little bit of process study on this department. For new comers student of 2013/2014 year study will face with new curriculum. What the different? With new curriculum, our dean have target for the students to focus for study and pass graduate within 3 years 6 months (this short time to pass than with old curriculum need 4 years, even there are 1-3 student can pass within 3 years 8 months). What on your minds now? May your perception will be variants, like "that's amaze" or "that's madly". Keep it on yours cause that yours.
Within new curriculum student are divide into 5 focus study by their own capability. What they are? The new focus study are Biochemistry, Inorganic chemistry, Organic chemistry, Physical chemistry, and Analytic chemistry. Those focus study are growth from the 2 focus study from last curriculum, its change cause by other reason that focus to the soft and hard skill of the graduated student when they face to job worlds.
Wow there's a lot of words that I've typed, but I didn't have to introduce myself. My name is Mahendra intake 2010 in Department Chemistry, that means know I'm a student that stay in last year of study and have a wish can pass graduate on May or August of 2014.
